It is our goal to keep the cost of education at KIA affordable for our families. While tuition covers basic costs involved in the operation of the Academy, many needed items are beyond the reach of our regular budget. This is where you can help! You may have resources of your own or know those who can assist us in providing some of the items on our 2006-2007 Annual Fund project list.
2006-2007 Projects:
1) We need to provice up-to-date resources for our library and media center. We plan to automate the circulation and provice an on-line library catalog. Cost: approximately $ 10,000 USD.
2) We need to purchase an LCD projector, laptop and screen. Cost: approximately $ 6,000 USD.
3) We need a good quality digital camera for journalism classes. Cost: approximately $1,000 USD.
4) We need additional instructional resources (i.e. maps, overhead projectors, die cut machine, listening center). Cost: approximately $5,000 USD.
5) We need to enhance technology resources (i.e. software, computers, etc.). Cost: approximately $8,000 USD.
