Welcome to Kunming International Academy!
At KIA, our goal is to light the fire of curiosity and imagination within each student by developing critical thinking, effective and creative communication skills, personal virtue, and the desire for excellence.
We believe sparks are created within a caring and safe school community where the teachers know, encourage and challenge each student to reach their full academic, physical, emotional, and spiritual potential. The fire is kindled through classroom lessons, after-school activities, learning groups, art and service projects, technology integration, the everyday impact of the teachers and much more.
